For the soul soothing beach strolls, you just have a 2 minute walk down Hauoli St., our quiet dead end street and you are at Sugar Beach. You could walk all the way to Kihei on this beautiful, long, unspoiled stretch of beach. On one side you have the ocean and on the other side is the Kealia Wildlife Refuge and Pond. The Maalaea Harbor is where you can find both Award Winning Restaurants and low keyed cafes, there are shops, boating activities of all kinds, the General Store and Deli and the famous Maui Ocean Center and Aquarium. Best of all it is a short walk there from the Condo. The drive to and from the Kahului Airport is only about 12 minutes. The Maalaea area has the feeling of Aloha, far from the busy and crowded areas but centrally located so you can visit those areas, just a 20 minute drive North to Lahaina/Kaanapali and a 20 minute drive South to Makena/Wailea. After a busy day of sightseeing and Island adventures you will return to your quiet and peaceful home away from home. Then when you have a good nights sleep with the help of the breeze and the sound of the ocean flowing through the Condo you will wake up to the beauty of the sunrise above Haleakala.
One of the best aspects is that it is centrally located to all that Maui has to offer.
The bedroom is nicely appointed with an appealing tropical flair with a large closet. There is a louvered glass window which allows a nice breeze that aids in a restful sleep. The couch folds out into a comfortable queen size bed.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need to make your stay feel like home. It has been recently updated with a new Stove, Microwave and Dishwasher, Corian Counter tops and new Cabinets. The refrigerator also has a ice maker. The stacked washer and dryer is located behind the louvered wood door in the kitchen.
The bathroom has also been updated with a tiled walk-in shower with a glass block wall, Corian Counter tops and it has a wall mounted hair dryer. There is face and hand soap in the cabinet above the sink.
There is a Flat Screen TV, DVD, free WiFi, VCR, CD Player, Satelite/Cable, Telephone and Broadband Access. The beach towels and chairs, beach tote and cooler along with bed linens, bath towels, kitchen towels, hot mits, broom, vacumn, laundry detergent, fabric softener, misc cleaning supplies and light bulbs are all located in the glass door closet in the hallway.
The cane couch has a dark floral print and along with the matching cane furniture with the wall decorations and prints completes the tropical feeling of the Islands. There are new tile floors through out the Condo.
There is a fenced in Pool and Hot Tub along side an Outdoor Grill. Lots of lounge chairs are located on the lawn. There are also tables and chairs for dining and relaxing with a beverage. A outdoor shower is there to rinse off before entering the pool and to rinse off the sand for those who choose to hang out on the beach located right out in front of the Condo.
The Lobby too has the feel of the Islands and when you walk in you are welcomed with the relaxing sound of the waterfall feature. There is a parking lot out front of the Lobby entrance off the street.
